Katsu Café Review

We don’t actually know the location, so we took a cab from Kamuning MRT Station to Katsu Café Banawe branch. The fare cost us 100php after 15 minutes, finally nakarating din kami sa destination namin.


Pagpasok I first noticed na wala pa silang costumer kahit afternoon na nung dumating kami, its kinda weird kase hindi ito katulad ng typical na restaurant.
Plain woods and rock lang ang design that makes the resto looks cool and ventilated.


We choose some of their best sellers on the menu as we always do.


While waiting for what we ordered, the crew gave us tea, glasses of water and sesame seeds in a mortar and pestle.


Kasunod din nun dumating na yung in-order kong Tonkatsu Set.
I’m so amazed with this mouthful set.

I’m so in love with the Japanese rice. It looks good and I can’t resist to eat it. The sesame seeds on top makes it more attractive. It’s thick and moist as it enters my mouth. Every rice grain is soft halos matunaw na sa bibig ko at mabigat sa tiyan.
 
The golden fried tonkatsu got my eyes. Its Japanese special panko breading makes it so crispy. The tender meat makes it chewable. Surprisingly even if its deep fried, its not oily unlike other same dishes I tasted before. The Tonkatsu sauce perfectly blend with the whole meal.

Yes! this stress relieving Miso soup will get you in the mood. with fresh nori and a bits of tofu and onion chives. It’s soothing effect good for my sore throat.
This little salad here is just a twist of the whole dish. Fresh cabbage with coco milk sauce makes me feel like its SUMMER!!
It’s so refreshing the crisp texture of the vegetable and smooth taste of coco milk match well.


It seems like a minute when we consumed such wonderful meals. *burp*
Sobrang sulit ang pag punta namin sa malayong lugar na to, and I swear na babalik kami dito to taste more Katsu’s Best Seller Meals!
