Ginebra Premium's Pub Crawl
Last Thursday, my fellow bloggers and I were invited to experience Gin Journey. We visited 3 bars to taste their best seller cocktails, of course with special mixes of World-Class Ginebra San Miguel Premium Gin, served by the talented Filipino mixologist of each bar.
We were delivered through each bar by this Black Fleet a.k.a Party Bus, this kind of idea was actually originated from London wherein the Party Bus will take you to any part of the city. Now it's starting to get famous here in the Philippines.
Inside the bus we throw some games like "Pinoy Henyo" if the player didn't guess the given word he/she will drink the Ginebra San Miguel Premium Gin no chaser.
The first bar we visit was The Keg located at The Fort Strip in BGC.
The marketing manager gives us an idea on the event also on the drinks that we're going to experience.
(Gin sunrise, Tom collins, Gin sour)
Though I'm not a drinker I tried my best just at least to taste them, and also for me to know why my friends likes to drink.
We travel from BGC to Ayala for our next destination The Red Dot
This bar is a Modern Japanese Bistro and just like your friendly neighborhood bar, offering great daily food and drink specials, weekend brunch and poutine!
Here are the cocktails I tried...
Sake Cooler
Rosemary
The Red Dot
Their signature cocktail is similar to Singapore Sling made of GSM Premium Gin, brandy, pineapple juice, lemongrass and dot of grenadine.
We drove back to BGC for our last bar destination Rue Bourbon Fort
I admit I cheated to my blogger friends for not drinking that much like them because I'm afraid of being drunk. lol!
I wasn't able to taste all their cocktails here except for my favorite Scottish Margaritta.
I almost finish these four glasses as if I'm just drinking a juice.
It was one of a kind experience for me, I gained new friends and was able to get closer to my co-bloggers. And of course was able to drink once in a while.
Check out their Facebook fan page.
