Last week I attended an event in Century City Mall. A workshop hosted by Victor Basa who's into blogging, fashion, and tech. On his talk, he shares his personal views on how Asus ZenBook can make everyone's lifestyle less hassle yet with style.

Last week I attended a blogger conference with our Secretary of Health Dr. Jannette Garin. To be honest, my train of thoughts were like "Gosh! That'll sure be a braggy blogcon", but I was wrong. It's very intimate, informative and worth attending.
I'm not going to discuss here everything I learned during the blogcon, because coming from me, it might bore you. But I want to commend our Health secretary for her contribution to a better health reform in our country.
Health Sec Janette Loreto-Garin is a physician and a national legislator for 9 years, shepherding the Magna Carta for Women, Cheaper Medicine Law, the Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health Law, Amendment to the Physicians Act and other key health measures in the Philippine congress. Under her watch, the DOH continued to have an increasing budget, achieved unprecedented utilization of this budget, and fast-tracked the procurement process without compromising quality and value-for-money.
For me, one of her most commendable work is when she initiated the creation of the DOH Academy to streamline training activities and human resource capacities across managerial and supervisory levels. This will strengthen the services provided for public good. Another thing is the ongoing review and improvement of different PhilHealth packages to improve benefits delivery and utilization to all Filipinos.
True her commitment as a courageous public health professional and dedicated public servant, Janette Loreto Garin perseveres to uplift the common lot of ordinary women, men, children, youth and the elderly in her post as the Secretary of Health. The call for Kalusugan Pangkalahatan or universal health care unfolds into reality as we build stronger health care system under the helm of Secretary Doctor Janette Loreto Garin.

There is no question that education forms the basic foundation for a child’s eventual future, which is why this time of the year causes a lot of anxiety for parents when it comes to choosing a school for their children. With the new K-12 program now firmly in place, some schools are better equipped to deal with this overhaul in the educational system.
Where do you and your friends usually go when you're planning to have a get-together? There's a bunch of stereotype cafes and restaurants around Manila to choose from. But if you're the kind of person who's tired of the mainstream and want to discover new things then this Kafe might be your partner to keep you sane.
It’s been several difficult years since Nov. 8, 2013, when the Philippines braved the strongest storm ever recorded and took the brunt of Typhoon Haiyan, the deadliest Philippine typhoon to date.
What is your routine every morning? Mine is 15 minutes yoga, walk my dogs and water plants. My day will literally fall apart if I will not follow this sequence. This simple routine brings out the best in me because I definitely see greatness everywhere even in little things.
Korea is one of the places I want to visit. Weather, culture, fashion, travel, and of course food is the things I'm looking forward when I fly to "The Land of the Morning Calm".
Indeed, Mother's day is getting closer and closer but have you decided where to treat the special woman in your life? Let me introduce the restaurant I visited last week where you and your mom can unwind.
We all know that we could never have enough fruits and vegetables in our system. Fruits and vegetables are abundant with vitamins, minerals, fiber, phytonutrients, and enzymes. A 13-year study by University College London only confirms what we have been long told. Eating a daily average of more than seven servings of fruits and vegetables could drastically reduce the risk of all causes of mortality, but eating seven plates of nutrition is easier said than done. Juicing is an excellent way to complement your daily recommended allowance of fruits and vegetables, and taking them in juice form even quadruples their nutrient absorption rate. But not all juicers are created equal.
As a blogger, my daily routine runs around technology. I may be tagged for overusing digital devices, but that's how my lifestyle goes. During this talk, I was made aware of the risks for such doings. Digital dementia is a term that was discussed thoroughly that day. It is a term that describes mental conditions such as forgetfulness due to overuse of digital technologies. Ring-a-bell, I'm experiencing such! Urgh! One thing that made this term out of the blue is our sedentary lifestyle. It was interestingly discussed that most of our workforce here in the Philippines are at risk and that may lead to obesity. I guess that's how it goes.
I consider myself as the weak-sickly-kid of the family because I got hospitalized several times more than any of my siblings. lol!
One incident was when we're having a dinner and then suddenly I just can't stop coughing, my mom immediately rushed me to the nearest hospital and got confined more than a week because of Asthma.
I'm not really that workout junkie who spend most of my time at the gym to gain muscles. Since I dance, I prefer yoga to achieve both flexibility and inner relaxation that will help me focus on my forte.
