How Jing Monis Salon Fulfilled my Eccentric Look
When I was young, my mom used to cut my hair using her weird pair of scissors. Like any other artists, she needs to get into a mood before doing her routine. She sips a cigar, fixes her hair, grabs a bowl of water where she can rinse her scissors and blade, and wear her glasses. She's like a mad scientist and I'm her experiment.

I don't usually like her output. I feel so different. Most of my classmates go to a salon or barbershop of their choice with their parents. One thing that my mom refused to. She said no one can take care of our hair better than her. It leaves us no choice. For years that I am not living with my mom, I suddenly missed that haircut.
Credence's haircut from the Fantastic Beast movie is the excellent example of how my hair looks like when I was in grade school. How he carry that style made me wonder if I can rock something that I once refused to have. I wanted to look different and so I decided to bring back that hair!

One day. while I was checking out for salons, I received a message from a friend asking if I want to try a Jing Monis Salon in Bonifacio Global City. Since it's near my place and was referred by a dear friend, I give it a go.

Salon Privat by Jing Monis has this cozy vibes of a mid-century modern interior. They have an eclectic array of furniture that is reminiscent of Paris. My stylist name is Vhince. To be honest, I was quite hesitant showing to him the style I want, but I've no choice but to trust. They were all professionals anyway.

I was offered a massage and a drink before we started the procedure. Sad to say, I never get the drink I ordered. Lol! The massage was good anyway. They proceeded with a Macadamia Hair Treatment before the haircut.

Vhince was a nice guy. A perfectionist indeed. He was able to determine my requirements by conferring the style I want in details. I am not expecting to feel good after getting a haircut which many would think as laughable. It felt good to walk away from a salon with pride and an eccentric style that not everyone can rock.
