For the past two years, Goldilocks Foundation and Caritas Manila have been working hand-in-hand to help several communities around the country with their Integrated Nutrition Program. The Program aims to help alleviate the problem of severe malnutrition in children, especially in poor communities. The program began in May 2017 and has since grown to a stable outreach that has rehabilitated and improved the lives of hundreds of children. The program lasts 120 days and distributes Vitabread, necessary vitamins and supplements, as well as other donated food items to children, making sure to improve their health and nutrition.
I must say that my Saturday was kinda lit! I got an invite to go to this gaming event at Market Market! which is walking distance from my flat. It's one of a kind event because it bought together all kinds of gamers and thrillseekers in one roof.
I'm not really into computer games but honey I enjoy watching. I can watch this for hours compared to basketball, all T all shade! #DewDay was jampacked with activities for everyone to enjoy. Who doesn't want to have a healthy lifestyle nowadays? I mean who doesn't want to live longer? At this age and time where stress and toxic stuff are everywhere, staying healthy is not something I can achieve overnight. It's a process ― a long and rigorous process. You have to know what you want and be loyal to it. I don't know, I think I already know the secret to a healthy lifestyle but for some reason, I still cheat on myself. I work out, eat healthy then suddenly find myself indulging a lazy day with fast food meals on the side. The devil is seriously on doing his job on me.
I'm giggling while writing this because it's so funny how naive I am back then. It started with my empty wallet (we'll get into that later lol!). I always refuse people offering me cards inside the mall because no. 1 it's creepy, and no. 2 it's not worth it in my opinion. It frustrates me when I see people staying in the cashier for too long, looking for their specific card. The on the go person that I am just want to pay, get the stuff I bought, and leave.
A couple of days ago I went to this Landlite Lighting Design 2019 which I don't have any idea whatsoever. Thank God I did because I learned so much when it comes to lighting, especially if you want a well-lit house or establishment. We all know perfect lighting really makes a big difference right? It set the mood, aura, & ambiance of the room. I think it's the greatest invention man has ever done, let's take a moment to thank Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla for their inputs. Setting aside their "feud" or should I say scalding tea.
On my previous blog post, I shared how Toshiba rules the industry of electronic conglomerates. Now, let me share their secret how they stand through time and staying relevant. The secret to being strong just like Toshiba products and Toshiba itself is very simple Takumi spirit. Takumi means in Japanese is "Artisan" that also can be used on Kanji character which can mean skillful, engineering, adroit to name a few.
I'm on the stage in life where appliances are on my top of priorities. But it's so hard to find good quality appliances that can compliment my kind of lifestyle. Adulting millennials like me can relate to this. I want something that is efficient yet innovative and I'm feeling very lucky because last week, I went to see the launch of the latest line home appliances from Toshiba.
